In another instance of specialty shops working on White Street in Tribeca, The New Yorker shares a video of neon sign makers Let There Be Neon creating the signage for famous smoked fish purveyors Russ & Daughters’ new sitdown cafe, opening soon. In addition to having refurbished the original Russ & Daughters sign (shown above), Let There Be Neon has created neon displays for retailers, restaurants and private clients like graffiti artist Curtis Kulig, whose classic “love me” logo, rendered in neon, now brightens the walls of a Kardashian home.

Watch the video to see the craftsmen at work, and find out what similarities are shared between slicing fish and blowing glass.
