While we’re on the subject, sisters Hollister and Porter Hovey of Hovey Design and their perennially-inspiring blog have also designed a wallpaper that’s now available at Anthropologie. If you haven’t been following the Hovey’s over the years, it’s tough to know where to start — suffice to say they were at the forefront of NY/Brooklyn’s fascination with antique/vintage objects that might now seem trendy or passé; however, the difference was in their practiced eye that allowed them to move between worlds, avoiding hipster trappings, to the point of successfully tackling their first interior-design job despite a strong ‘no taxidermy’ stipulation.

Well, you’ll find some taxidermy judiciously sprinkled throughout the wallpaper print created for Anthropologie, but it appears alongside renderings of all sorts of things decorating their Brooklyn home, including riding boots, old combs, framed portraiture and various other interesting objects and ephemera. Looking good!
