Forbes makes an interesting observation that the choice of location for this particular style of campaign is very smart — in Singapore, public displays of affection have historically been uncommon/discouraged; by placing this machine in a university setting, Coke is counting on the country’s youth to be the first to buck this trend and ‘hug it out.’
