Since I’ve been dealing with a mouse infestation at the moment, stumbling upon this old cartoon drawn by the author of Stay At Stove Dad made me smile. The sketch was submitted-to-but-rejected-by the New Yorker, apparently for being similar to one they’d published previously, a strong testament to the common bond between NY citizens across generations – how in the world do we catch these bold and crafty city mice? All suggestions welcome.
