Artist Keri Smith has a lot of energy and creativity running through her veins, but along with that, also the pressures and doubts and stresses that we all face. Finding it better to acknowledge the bad parts and confront them in the light of day, she created this list as part of the Artist Survival Kit. Though it’s structured as a checklist on how to feel terrible, Smith created it with the flipside in mind, knowing that we let ourselves live in a rut only when we aren’t reminded how ridiculously simple it can be to avoid the rut entirely.
