Jónsi’s solo album is peppered with the same bright, soaring moments that he’s created with Sigur Rós, the kind of moments that seem tailor-made for movie trailers. Until now, however, the Sigur Rós frontman has not seen fit to approve his music for use in commercials. The Let’s Colour Project must have struck the right chord, as Pitchfork reports that Jónsi’s label confirms his track, Go Do, was officially licensed for use in this promo.

It makes sense. Let’s Colour is childlike, in a way, billing itself as a “color movement,” mobilizing communities to covering their drab and dreary surroundings with vibrant splotches of life. You can just picture Jónsi grabbing up a paintbrush and joining in the pursuit of the same, simple dream.
