The Times of New York candle, which mimics the comforting and familiar scent of black ink on newsprint, was conceived and created by Tobias Wong, the artist/designer who passed away just last year. Josée Lepage of Bondtoo stepped in to see this project through, and now it’s available from Project No. 8 at Ace Hotel and Bondtoo.

The Chance pop-up store is open now through the end of June on Elizabeth Street, and they’re featuring limited-edition prints of portraits created by Mary Matson depicting the season-appropriate striped shirts owned and loved by six creative women.
