Dyer & Jenkins is a small operation dedicated to making items like denim and t-shirts completely in the US. While this may not seem noteworthy considering the last few years have seen a huge increase in marketing buzzwords like Americana and heritage goods being thrown around, the truth is that, due to cost-cutting outsourcing, the American manufacturing industry has shrunk to a fraction of its former self.
Though they are only a small operation themselves, Dyer & Jenkins is committed to doing its part. In that spirit, they’ve announced their intention to create one American job for every 1,000 t-shirts sold, either within their own company or by creating more work for their American manufacturers, currently operating on a very small scale. Take a look at their product here.
