Five years ago, when Michael Williams of A Continuous Lean and PR firm Paul + Williams began planning a new kind of menswear event with business partner Randy Goldberg, the goal was a straightforward one: to gather nice things — well-made things, lasting things, things the two men themselves liked — together under one roof for one weekend.
Five years later, the Pop Up Flea birthed from that simple concept has grown in leaps and bounds — Williams and Goldberg brought the Pop Up Flea to London this year, and the NYC Flea, which took place this past weekend in a 15,000-square -foot space on Mercer, was the biggest to date, with over 60 brands in the house, from old-guard heritage companies like Filson and Schott to vintage/luxury curators like watch enthusiasts Hodinkee and the always-in-fine-taste Man of the World magazine.
Now, for the first time, the Pop Up Flea is partnering with online retailer East Dane to make a selection of Williams-and-Goldberg-approved items available online (and qualified for Amazon Prime). Click over to browse the selection and read a Q&A with the founders.
