The Blue Boat is a collaboration between French artist Xavier Veilhan and the Frauscher shipyard in Austria. Covered in blue paint in every spot other than the dashboard dial faces, this thing looks spectacular. Imagine taking this out on the lake! Granted, the price tag on this puts it fully in the class of luxury item (it’s going on auction in a week, expected to fetch upwards of $270,000), but the idea could be applied to anything. I’ve been meaning to re-paint some of my old furniture white to give it some new life, but maybe I’m limiting my imagination.
