From Subway to Seascape

I know we can’t all do it like those hippies in Amsterdam, but throw us a bone, here. While New York is cutting entire subway lines, the Amsterdam Public Transport Company is commissioning art. And not that we don’t get some good stuff flowing in our train stations and whatnot as well, but we don’t have anything like this.

Million Dollar Design, a group of artists belonging to the Shop Around collective, completely reworked a train car into a beautiful underwater seascape. Mermaids, seahorses, badass jellyfish – it’s a good look. (Via Juxtapoz)
