Here’s an audio-visual stunner from Pogo, who’s put together a track using sounds recorded from Hook, the 1991 Robin Williams/Dustin Hoffman nostalgia-trip brought to you by Steven Spielberg. If you grew up watching this movie like I did (I was seven years old when it came out) you’ll want to play this clip all the way through.
For the younger crowd, try this reworking of Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone. For the older, slip into this one, a truly gorgeous track using sounds from Mary Poppins.

Did you get into their first record? I was a huge, huge fan and I’ve been crazy impatient for more. Now, it seems like they’ve gone another way entirely with this new single “Kiss of Life.” And it’s INSANE. Samba-infused after a recent tour through South America, the English boys from St. Albans came back and dropped this song with a sunny, raucous video to match.

And the dancing. Oh God, the dancing. I don’t know if he’s good. Maybe it’s really bad. Either way, this may be the least inhibited frontman we have in music right now. Watch him move. I just watched this five times in a row. It’s hypnotizing. I can’t stop. I still haven’t eaten dinner. Someone please shut my screen off.

No news there, but this just rubs it in. As if we don’t already know that he’s got ten things done in the time it takes you and me to do two, Jay throws it down for us in under a minute.

Leading us through his whole discography in the time it takes to aim, let loose, shake-off and zip-up, this is a mind trip as far as commercials go. Thanks to The Full Clip for putting us on.
