Spotted on JJJJound, I knew I had to find out more. After a little creative Googling, it was Mr. West’s blog (via fabrikproject) that put me on to the answers.

The above shots are from Austrian photographer Bela Borsodi‘s latest project. Borsodi, who has a fascination with looking at standard objects in non-standard ways, and an innate ability to capture the images that help the rest of us ‘see’ with less boundaries, has had that ability tapped for other cool projects in the past. Below, a few images from his imagination-driven portfolio:

A section of an advertisement done for Hermès

Wildlife spread for Italian Glamour

An advertisement for Selfridges

Founded in 1990 but ripe for a ‘moment’ now, these pieces from Andy Gregg’s Bike Furniture Design consist of sharply re-imagined bicycle parts.

It’s eco-friendly, it’s a nod to the steady assimilation of bike culture, and it’s fashioned with a strong eye for design. From all angles, it looks like they have a winner. Via Curated.
Michael Jackson
A name so trite it’s never really on our radar until recently. Writing something about him almost seem as superfluous as playing Billie Jean on repeat. Everybody’s done it, and enough really is enough! But here you go, his moves will take out any ABDC with a bang any day, and probably will remain so for the rest of the millenium.
RIP
